HousingMost students stay in shared apartments in the city. It's up to you to make housing arrangements, but we can recommend the apartment complexes below. All are well-maintained and furnished, and have a full kitchen. The choice is up to you! You should thoroughly investigate each location to see which location appeals most to you. Be sure to compare prices and amenities before making your decision. It is your responsibility to contact landlords and make arrangements for housing well in advance of your arrival. You should make initial contact as soon as you apply to the program, as apartments fill quickly. There are other options, including homestays. If you'd like to live with an Irish family, let us know and we'll contact the Galway housing office to start the process.
Start at least 4 months before departure to assure yourself of a place to stay. Housing is reasonably priced, and you may actually pay less in rent than you do on campus.
