This course will examine all aspects of the specialized training needed for special event management. Design, financing, budgeting, leadership and integrated marketing will be studied. The course will also provide students with the necessary critical background for improving their effectiveness and profitability as a special events manager. Prerequisite: Introduction to Hospitality Management or its equivalent.
