In this course students are introduced to the design of outdoor spaces in relation to residential spaces . The aim of the course is to give students the requisite skills to create stylish outdoor living spaces and gardens through the use of plants, furniture, materials and techniques; they are encouraged to analyze the characteristics of different plants and planting schemes from an architectural as much as a decorative approach. Prerequisites: Intermediate Interior Design or equivalent course |
