Meet the Regis Hall Staff

Meet Your Area Coordinator

Ophelie Rowe-Allen: Originally from Jamaica, attended St. Thomas University in Miami, Florida, where she earned a Bachelors Degree in Psychology and a Masters Degree in Mental Health Counseling. As an undergraduate student she was a Resident Assistant and during her graduate years she became a Senior Resident Assistant and Peer Mentor for first year students. After completing her degree she worked as a Residence Life Coordinator for Miami International University Art & Design and teaches Psychology part-time at the University. Ophelie lives in Regis Hall and looks forward assisting first year students as they transition into their collegiate years.

 

Meet Your Resident Assistants

Amanda Caixeiro: Amanda is a returning member to our staff and is a junior from Tomkins Cove, NY. Her birthday is April 3. Amanda is an Economics and Philosophy double major and has a minor in Politics. Amanda likes Regis Hall because it focuses on the First Year Experience program. In her free time, Amanda likes hanging out with friends, movies, shopping, drawing, painting, and writing.

Michael Csorba: Mike is a junior and a first year Resident Assistant. He is from Selden, NY and was born on June 16. He is an English major with two minors: Education and Catholic Studies. One of the most powerful moments at Fairfield was leading a group of students at the "March for Life" last January. From this experience, he was motivated to continue standing up for his beliefs.

Emily Dragone: Emily is from New Milford, CT and is a returning staff member. She is majoring in Communication and is a member of the Fairfield University Student Association Executive Board. She likes Regis because Regis Hall thrives with energy. She lives by the quote "The human spirit is stronger than anything that can happen to it."

Danielle McCarthy: Danielle is the Senior Resident Assistant of Regis Hall. She is hoping to graduate with a double major in Biology and English. This is her second year as a Resident Assistant in Regis Hall. Danielle is from Hanover, MA and was born on December 19. She enjoys classes taught by Dr. Sandra Bill from the Philosophy department and her favorite quote is "I don't know the key to success, but the key to failure is trying to please everyone" - Bill Cosby.

Jamie Stillwell: Jamie is a senior and has been a Resident Assistant for three and a half years. She is from Warminster, PA and has a double major in Psychology and Sociology. Her birthday is June 2. Jamie enjoys movies and has a great DVD collection. On campus, Jamie is part of the Fairfield Corps program and a mentor for the Cura Personalis program

Joshua Kenney: Josh is a junior from Glen Head, NY. His major is Psychology and his birthday is October 7. Living in the Ignatian Residential College program last year helped him realize how important community is to the collegiate environment. He considers his experience with the program his most meaningful experience at Fairfield. Josh enjoys playing guitar, listening to good music, playing retro videogames, and spending time with friends.

Gabriel Rojas: Gabriel is from Union, NJ and new to our staff this year. He is a junior Radio and Television double major. His birthday is June 10. Gabriel spends a lot of his time making dinner at a local homeless shelter in Bridgeport. He recommends the class Studio Television Production and he loves the show "Lost".
