Meet the Dolan Hall Staff

Area Coordinator

Michael C. Labella: I'm originally from Staten Island NY and did my undergraduate work at Quinnipiac University where I majored in accounting. I was an RA at Quinnipiac for three years and participated in other campus activities and leadership positions. I came to Fairfield for my Masters degree in Curriculum and Instruction and had an assistantship with Residence Life as a Residence Hall Coordinator where I worked with Jogues and Kostka/Claver. After completing my degree I was hired as a full time Area Coordinator and worked with Campion and Dolan last year. This year I will be working with the Townhouses and Dolan. My responsibilities include supervising the staffs in each area, overseeing the programming and most importantly being a resource for you. I am here to make your on campus living experience a positive one. I look forward to your return to campus and am confident that it will be a successful and memorable year.

Resident Assistant Staff

Alexandra Deitz: Ali is a senior from Point Pleasant, NJ and a Biology major. She has a minor in Marine Science. Her birthday is February 12. She is just returning from a semester abroad in Australia where she took Human Anatomy and worked with real bodies, which is something reserved only for medical students in the United States.

Joe Fusco: Joe is a Biology major from Wethersfield, CT. He is a senior and born on February 13. This is his second year as a RA. He enjoys playing tennis. Joe also took Kenpo Karate for eight years. He was the treasurer of Campions RCC his freshman year and was the treasurer on the executive board for IRHA his sophomore year. His television show of choice is "House" and he likes the movie "The Departed."

Abena Banful: Abena is from Brooklyn, NY and a junior nursing major. Her birthday is June 20. Her most meaningful experience was her participation in the Youth Power Partnership program. This is a program based in Bridgeport that supplies the children of the area with activities after school and a mentor relationship with an adult. She hopes her work will create a desire for these students to go to college.

Shelby Mayor: Shelby is a junior and the Senior RA of Dolan Hall. She is from Cleveland, OH and is working towards a double major in Finance and Accounting. Shelby is a second year RA and her birthday is April 28. She recommends the movie "The Devil Wears Prada" and likes the books Anna Karenena and Pride and Prejudice. Shelby is fond of the quote "In order to be irreplaceable, one must always be different." - Coco Chanel
