Outdoor Recreation

Fairfield University's location in Southeastern Connecticut puts numerous lakes & ponds, several rivers & streams, many state parks & forests, and hundreds of campsites and miles of hiking trails within short or reasonable driving distances from campus. In conjunction with the Outing Club, a student organization, the Recreation Department seeks to take advantage of and celebrate the natural beauty and resources of our environment.
