Quick Center Volunteer Program

Regina A. Quick Center for the Arts

Volunteer Group

The Quick Center Volunteers are a very active group of people who are interested in the theater and the arts and want to become involved. They represent many age groups as well as many surrounding communities.

Some areas of volunteer service include helping with receptions and special events for the Gallery and the two Quick Center theaters. Ushering, box office help, gallery docents, hosting artists in the dressing room, are just a few of the many varied areas that volunteers enjoy working.

There are special events just for the volunteers. Each Gallery Exhibit includes a special informative Gallery Walk, given by Dr. Mille, the Gallery Director. This is for the enjoyment of all but also prepares the Docents with information they might need while in the gallery and it gives each an opportunity to ask questions they might have concerning this exhibit.

Bus trips with back stage tours to the NY Ballet and the Metropolitan Opera are just a few of the many trips the volunteers have enjoyed as a group.

If you are interested in joining us and becoming involved please contact Emily Worden at the Quick Center (203) 254-4242.
