Academic Advising

Fairfield University's academic advisors are here to guide you towards meeting your educational and personal enrichment goals. Our staff advisors and the faculty from academic departments are readily available to talk with you and answer your questions.

Applying for Part-Time Studies at Fairfield University?

Your first step should be to meet with an academic advisor for guidance on degree programs, course selection, transferring credit from prior college work, and turning work and life experience into credit. Please be prepared to bring any available past scholastic information with you when you meet with an advisor.

We strongly recommend that new students who intend to take more than one course or intend to complete a degree, meet with an academic advisor prior to registration for guidance on degree programs, course selection, transferring credit from prior college work, and turning work and life experience into credit. Depending on the degree program you select, you can transfer up to 75 credits.

Currently enrolled?

Students who are enrolled in a degree completion program are strongly encouraged to meet with an academic advisor at least once a year for program review.

To speak with an academic advisor or to schedule an appointment, call (203) 254-4100 or e-mail ptadvise@fairfield.edu.
