Getting Involved

Fairfield parents are encouraged to volunteer in a variety of capacities. These options represent opportunities to share our expertise to benefit Fairfield University, and to get to know other Fairfield families while maintaining our sons' and daughters' personal identities as students.

Parents' Committee

The Parents' Committee enhances the quality of Fairfield University student life and learning by raising gifts from parents of current students and parents of alumni in support of the University's Annual Fund. The committee works to actively engage parents in a variety of activities, and forwards parent comments and concerns to the University's administration.

Parent Communication Team (PCT)

The Parent Communication Team makes phone calls to encourage parents to attend Fairfield events in their area and on campus.

Event Hosts

Parents are encouraged to host events in their homes or a nearby venue to enable parents and students from a particular geographic area to get to know each other.

Admissions Volunteers

Admissions volunteers attend college fairs and regional admission receptions.

Network for Fairfield Alumni and Parents

Parents are encouraged to volunteer to offer career information to students and alumni. Parents also serve as a conduit to their companies for job and internship opportunities for Fairfield students and alumni.
