NCAA Ice Hockey Regional tickets on sale

All-Session passes for the 2011 NCAA Men's Ice Hockey East Regional are on sale now. All-Session (3-game package) tickets for the March 25-26 tournament that sends one team to the Frozen Four can be purchased online through Ticketmaster.com or in person or by phone through the Webster Arena at Harbor Yard Box Office. All-session packages are $60 for adults and $40 for children (12 and under), which is a substantial (75/50) reduction in price compared to the 2009 East Regional at the Arena. Game times on the 25th are 3 and 6:30 p.m. with a 6:30 p.m. championship contest on the 26th. The winner of the regional goes on to St. Paul, Minn. for the 2010 Frozen Four. Co-hosts Yale University and Fairfield University helped manage a sold out 2009 East Regional, and the Bulldogs were one of the four teams to participate in the event that brought the largest hockey crowd in the history of that venue.

Nearly 60 percent of student-athletes named to 3.0 club

Fairfield's student-athletes excelled in the classroom once again with 59 percent achieving at least a 3.0 grade point average (GPA) during the fall 2010 semester.
