FM 132 - Directing for Film and Television
|
This course explores what a film or television director does, how he or she manipulates and manages the divergent elements of cinema into a coherent whole, and often, into a unique and personal vision.
The specific tasks of a director are studied from practical and theoretical perspectives. This is a required course for the film track of the New Media Film, Television and Radio major. This course fulfills a visual and performing arts core requirement in history. Three credits.
