Advancement and Student Affairs Communications
The Director of Communications for Advancement and Student Affairs oversees marketing and communications activities in the Advancement and Student Affairs areas of the University, serves as the editor of the University's flagship magazine, Fairfield University Magazine, and provides writing support for the President's remarks.
Fairfield University Magazine is a quarterly magazine for all alumni and parents, one issue of which also includes the Annual Report. The Director of Communications is the Editor of the magazine, writing and assigning stories to other writers and managing the publication.
The Assistant Director of Advancement Communications provides marketing and communications support for The Fairfield Fund, Major Gifts, Planned Giving, Reunion Giving, Corporate and Foundation Relations, Alumni Relations, and Development Services, and serves as Editor of the Currents: Alumni Edition e-newsletter that is sent monthly to alumni.
Student Affairs Communications
The Communications Coordinator provides marketing and communications support for the Student Affairs area, including the Offices of the Dean of Students, Residence Life, Athletics, Student Involvement, Student Programs and Leadership Development, diversity initiatives, Career Services, Facilities, and Health and Public Safety, and serves as the Editor for the Currents: Parents Edition e-newsletter that is sent monthly to parents.
