StagPrint

StagPrint is the name of the University's free-print allotment account. All full-time undergraduate students receive $25.00 in free prints per semester, with all other students receiving $5.00 per registered course. A print management system was first implemented in September 2003 in an effort to reduce waste and control costs related to a previously unregulated system of public access printers.

Fairfield University now uses WEPA to manage its public-access printers. WEPA, which is an acronym for Wireless Everywhere, Print Anywhere, allows users to send their print jobs to the cloud, and then release them at their convenience from one of ten kiosks around campus, and from any WEPA kiosk nationwide. The WEPA system launched January 14, 2013.

WEPA kiosks have been placed in the following locations:

  • Bannow Science Center: On the second floor bridge to the School of Nursing, next to the vending machines
  • Barone Campus Center: Outside of the Stag Spirit Shop
  • DiMenna-Nyselius Library:
    • Lower level, near the periodical stacks
    • Main level, Information Commons
    • 24/7 Lab
    • Upper level, near the card catalog computers
  • Dolan School of Business: In the classroom wing, outside of room 110 A&B
  • Walsh Athletic Center computer lab

To access your StagPrint account:

  1. Send a print job to WEPA (see the how-to guides linked below)
  2. Swipe your StagCard at a kiosk
  3. Select a print job, and opt to pay with your StagCard
  4. Swipe your StagCard when prompted - the system will automatically debit your StagPrint account first, and only charge your StagBucks account if your StagPrint account is empty.

Checking your StagPrint Balance

The balance that appears when you swipe your StagCard is the combination of your StagPrint balance and your StagBucks balance. To see exactly what your account balances are, log on to www.stagcardonline.com with your NetID and password. If you do not have a StagPrint balance and should, please contact the StagCard Office at stagcard@fairfield.edu, or visit us in the Barone Campus Center, room 110.
