Events for the First Year Experience (FYE) are added throughout the academic year. First-year students will be asked to check this page often for the most updated listing of events.

*All Quick Center events are $5 for students when purchased day of the event. The FYE swiper can be found at the Information Desk in the Lobby following the event.*

Thursday, December 5 Inspire Fairfield Gender Games A direct action project that brings pressing issues for young people regarding sex, sexuality, and gender alive for the campus community. It's purpose is to raise consciousness. LLBCC/ All 11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. Professor Boryczka

Saturday, December 7 Inspire Fabrics Through Time: A Multicultural Fashion Show This event will be held by Fairfield United. Each club has chosen outfits from different cultures and different decades. We will be showcasing these clothes and running a clothing drive. Sunday, December 15 Inspire Advent Lessons and Carols The annual Advent Lessons and Carols Mass this year will introduce Bishop Caggiano. Mass is at 9 p.m. in the Egan Chapel. Great way to start the Christmas season. Egan Chapel 9 p.m. Father Paul Holland
Wednesday, March 5, 2014 Inspire 8th Annual Commonweal Lecture conducted by Christian Wiman Christian Wiman, one of the most significant names in poetry today, is Senior Lecturer of Religion and Literature at Yale Institute of Sacred Music and Yale Divinity School. In his lecture, he will be speaking about the relationship between poetry and spirituality. Dolan School of Business Dining Room 8 p.m. Michelle Towster
