Course Registration Information

Course Registration

A key component of the residential college experience is to connect classroom learning with student's lived experiences. To that end, each residential college offers a variety of courses that seek to explore the major questions of the college in a way appropriate to the course subject.

Students in each residential college must register for one residential college course each semester. They receive early registration for these courses. These courses are usually core courses and are part of a students regular load. They are not an additional or overload course. Each residential college has a faculty chairperson who will assist students who have challenges in finding a course. Please note: You do not need a pin # to register for your residential college course.

Students are reminded to take care of any financial or Student Affairs holds prior to registration. Any holds on an account will prohibit your ability to register.

On your residential college day of registration, students will select one course from their residential college.

Questions or conflicts with your schedule?

Students with course challenges must contact their residential college academic chairperson.

The last day of residential college registration is for students who have challenges in selecting a course from their own residential college. These students, with permission from their academic chair, may be allowed to select a course from one of the other residential college course offerings. Please e-mail them directly so they can advise you on how to proceed.
