Exercise: Questioning the Source
Put your critical thinking cap on.
Discerning the quality of a website can be complicated, but it is often worth the extra time it takes to find information that is:
- Relevant
- Accurate
- Timely
- Representative of key perspectives on a given topic
The following exercise asks you to visit, analyze, and write about two prescribed websites related to the issue of censorship.
Your answers, while brief, should be as complete and thoughtful as possible.
As you evaluate the sites, try to be as objective as you can be before you draw your conclusions. Remember Zen Master Nan-in's lesson!
Once the exercise is open on your screen, type your answers into it. When complete, print it out and hand it in to your EN 12 professor.

- Important Note: Once you begin typing your answers into the exercise, you won't be able to save them. If you cannot complete the exercise within one sitting, then print out what you have and handwrite the remainder.
