Opening night honors go to Broadway's Next H!t Musical, a brilliantly fresh, funny, laugh-out-loud improvisation musical comedy. Reserved tickets are $45, $40, and $35; Fairfield University students: $5.

Broadway's Next Hit Musical is an award-winning unscripted show performed by a talented troupe of New York City-based actors, each a master improviser, who collect suggested hit song ideas from the audience, and then present a spontaneous evening of music, humor, and laughter. The audience votes for its favorite song and watches as the cast turns it into a full blown improvised musical - complete with memorable characters, witty dialogue, and plot twists galore. Comedy fans and musical theatre lovers alike will enjoy the hilarious antics that take place on stage, where every song is fresh, every scene is new, and every night is different.

Under the direction of improv veterans Rob Schiffman and Deb Rabbai, Broadway's Next H!t Musical was hailed as "brilliant" by TheaterWeek. The New York Times calls it "Hilarious!", and The New York Post described the show as "remarkable." Time Out NY says "At last! A musical of, for, and by the people." Broadway's Next Hit Musical has been seen recently at The Triad, Tribeca Film Festival, and at the New York Musical Theater Festival, among many others, presenting improvisational musical comedy theatre at its very best.
