"A Christmas Carol" is holiday offering for families at Quick Center for the Arts
The award-winning musical adaptation of Charles Dickens' timeless classic, "A Christmas Carol," is Fairfield University's Regina A. Quick Center for the Arts holiday offering for families on Sunday, Nov. 26, at 1 and 3 p.m. The show, appropriate for children in all grades, will be repeated as part of the Quick Center's outreach program, Schooldays Series, on Monday, Nov. 27, at 10 a.m. A study guide is available for teachers.
Through the magic of live musical theater, this jubilant holiday production by American Family Theater will thrill audiences of all ages with spectacle, song and special effects. "A Christmas Carol" features book, lyrics and music by Don Kersey, the award-winning playwright and composer.
The Schools in Partnership program is made possible in part through grants from Unilever H & PC-USA, the Fairfield Kiwanis Club, Regina A. Quick, the Max and Victoria Dreyfus Foundation, Inc., and People's Bank, all of which support attendance for economically disadvantaged children throughout the region. Tickets for Sunday's production are $10 adults, $8 for children; those for Monday's show are $5. Tickets for either production can be reserved by calling the Quick Center box office at (203) 254-4010 or toll-free at 1-877-ARTS-396.
