Thursday, March 28, 2013, 7 p.m.
The Stamford Innovation Center is up and running, and many in Fairfield County are looking at the facility as the new entrepreneurial hub of the region.
On Thursday, March 28, 2013, at 7 p.m., Peter Propp, vice president of marketing of the Stamford Innovation Center, will deliver a free, public talk at Fairfield University: "Creating a Startup Economy - The View from the Street in Stamford Connecticut."
Attendees will also get to hear from two startups working at the Innovation Center, which provides a shared work environment where entrepreneurs and early-stage startups can gather, collaborate, and innovate. Located in the Old Town Hall, it is described as a place for dreamers, thinkers and doers.
Co-presented by Fairfield University's School of Engineering and the Inventors Association of Connecticut, the event will take place in the Dolan School of Business Dining Room.
