Who: The Philadelphia Orchestra's new Music Director Yannick Nézet-Séguin conducts a dramatic, 21st-century treatment of Stravinsky's The Rite of Spring, performed in Philadelphia's Verizon Hall. Also featured is star pianist Jean-Yves Thibaudet, performing Ravel's Piano Concerto in G major.
What: Orchestra in HD! Now, in a first-of-its-kind partnership with Philadelphia Live Arts and the New York-based Ridge Theater Company, viewers will witness a visually powerful performance featuring The Philadelphia Orchestra, dancers, video projection, dramatic staging, and theatrical lighting.
