Christine Romans of CNN interviewed two of Fairfield University graduating seniors, Kristina (Nina) Daoud and Emmanuel Ephie, and Cathleen Borgman, director of the Career Planning Center, for a piece about the job market new grads are facing. On June 2, ABC's Good Morning America presented Tory Johnson's Job Club and tips for college grads. Tory gave examples of how 2009 grads had found jobs - including our own Kaitlyn Curran, a communications major who wanted to work in the entertainment business. AJCU Higher Ed News on May28 featured the 23rd annual Awards Dinner that raised $1.4 million for Multicultural Student Scholarships.
