Fairfield salutes the Barnum Festival at Fairfield University's Quick Center

The Town of Fairfield's annual Salute to the Barnum Festival will take place on Wednesday, May 31, at 5:30 p.m. in Fairfield University's Regina A. Quick Center for the Arts. This year's Ringmaster, Eastonite David D'Addario, president of D'Addario Industries, will welcome attendees.

Attorney John Fallon of Fairfield is chairman of this year's Salute which begins with cocktails and hors d'oeuvres from 5:30 to 7 p.m. in the Quick Center's Thomas J. Walsh Gallery. The cocktail party will be immediately followed by a production of "Barnum" in the Quick Center's Kelley Theatre. The cast includes 21 students from the Regional Center for the Arts Magnet School who live in the towns of Bridgeport, Fairfield, Trumbull, Stratford, Monroe and New Canaan. "Barnum" will run for two performances on Wednesday, May 31, and Thursday, June 1, at 7 p.m., in the Kelley Theatre.

Tickets for the Salute are $50 per person and include a ticket to "Barnum." All proceeds benefit the Barnum Festival. For tickets or information call John Fallon at (203) 256-3247. For play tickets only at $10, call the box office at (203) 254-4010.
