Fairfield University students interview Congressman Jim Himes (D-CT) on faith and politics

United States Congressman Jim Himes (D-CT) was interviewed by Fairfield University students about how his faith influences his political decisions and the role of religion in public life.

The interview was taped as part of the "Politics Meets Faith Series," a project of the University's Center for Faith and Public Life in which elected officials from all political parties have been invited to go on record on the subject of faith and politics.

The series has had prominent national political figures as guests, and interviews have taken place in Washington, D.C. and at the University's Media Center. Previous interviews have been with Congresswoman Rosa L. DeLauro (D-CT); Sen. Joseph Lieberman (I-CT); Congressman Christopher Shays (R-CT); Congressman Jim McGovern (D-MA) and Congressman Emanuel Cleaver (D-MO) and others.
