Current Research Interests

Receptions of Antiquity, Constructions of Gender in European Art, 1300-1600, a collection of essays that Dr. Rose is co-editing with Dr. Alison Poe, was published by Brill in June 2015. She is currently collaborating with colleague Dr. Katherine Schwab on a project studying the hairstyles of the Erechtheion's caryatids, and the Hair in the Classical World museum exhibition at the Bellarmine Museum of Art (Fall 2015).
