Current Research Interests

Dr. Kim's research interests focus on language development of children with autism. She recently completed a longitudinal study of a bilingual child with autism to examine the impact of bilingualism. Dr. Kim also has varied her research to include collaborative research projects focused on special education and autism. These projects include: Autism across cultures, Experiencing early childhood education in rural Nicaragua, and Cross-cultural aspects of special education.
