Dr. Mousumi Bhattacharya

Associate Professor of Management

Dr. Mousumi Bhattacharya is associate professor of management at the Charles F. Dolan School of Business. She has a Ph.D. in management from Syracuse University. Her research interests are strategy and strategic human resource management (HRM), with focus on international HRM. Dr. Bhattacharya has published in Journal of Management, Journal of Business Research, Journal of Managerial Issues, and International Journal of Human Resource Management. She has presented her work in several conferences organized by the Academy of Management and Strategic Management Society. She has authored book chapters and is currently working on the edited volume, Companion to Strategic HRM (under contract with Routledge).

Dr. Bhattacharya teaches strategy, international HRM, compensation and performance management, and other HRM courses in the Dolan School of Business. Earlier she taught strategy capstone at Syracuse University School of Management. She has worked for several years in HRM, management development and strategic planning for a Fortune 500 company in India.
