Educational Technology
The Master of Arts in Educational Technology is designed to enhance and transform teaching through technology integration -- training candidates as teachers, co-teachers and consultants in schools, agencies and organizational professional development positions.
K-12 classroom teachers often pursue the M.A. in Educational Technology as a dynamic addition to their current classroom practice, and an enhancement for future career plans. In addition, the M.A. in Educational Technology with School Library Media Specialization is offered as optional program track preparation for a K-12 cross endorsement for certified teachers, and as a K-12 initial endorsement for those who are beginning their career in education.
The Educational Technology program welcomes potential candidates from all teaching disciplines, both those contemplating a career change or currently certified teachers seeking an enhancement to their existing professional skills. Our programs are tailored to the needs of working professionals, and provide initial and advanced training in integrating technology in a wide variety of teaching and training environments. We offer on campus, online and blended courses each semester.
The Educational Technology program is offered through the Graduate School of Education and Allied Professions to teach, counsel, evaluate, and serve the wider community in ways that reflect Jesuit values.
