Connecticut Writing Project 2013 Invitational Summer Institute
Dedicated to improving students' writing abilities by strengthening the teaching and learning of writing, The Connecticut Writing Project at Fairfield University, an affiliate of the National Writing Project, provides professional development programs for teachers. The Invitational Summer Institute is an intensive, four-week program designed to build strong literacy leadership and a capacity to instruct writing.
Through a National Writing Project SEED Grant for Teacher Leadership, we have funds for 15 teachers K-college to participate in the 2013 Invitational Summer Institute. Stellar educators with a passion for empowering their students are encouraged to apply! Each participant will earn 4-6 credits in Fairfield University's Graduate School of Education and Allied Professions.

Monday to Friday, July 8-August 2, 2013
9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
