Welcome to the Graduate School of Education & Allied Professions

Image: CT Writing ProjectStudents come to Fairfield's Graduate School of Education & Allied Professions because of the reputation and quality of our programs and faculty. We offer students an affordable way to advance their careers. Students enjoy our small class sizes, the opportunity to work closely with faculty, class schedules that accommodate those who work during the day, and field experiences in all programs. All of our teacher preparation and clinical training programs are nationally accredited by their professions' accrediting organizations (NCATE, CACREP, COAMFTE, NASP).

Located on a beautiful campus in southern Connecticut, Fairfield University is a Jesuit institution grounded in a 500-year-old tradition of academic rigor, personal reflection, and social justice. Our students are educated in ways that are consistent with this tradition. Our graduates are scholar-practitioners - teachers, counselors, therapists, and consultants - who appreciate that learning is a life-long process and who respect the diversity and rights of others.
