Welcome to the Charles F. Dolan School of Business

Class of 2011

Freshmen Guidelines

The following courses comprise the regular program for First Year Students in the Dolan School of Business. Students normally take 1417 credits during the first semester at Fairfield University. Note that all First Year Dolan School of Business students are required to take AC 11 (Intro to Financial Accounting) during the Fall 2007 term.

  • A student who has already fulfilled one of these requirements may elect to take IS100 or another University CORE course.
  • Three semesters of mathematics are required for DSB students. (Preferably MA121; MA122; and MA217 or EC278)
  • Note that beginning with the Class of 2012, all DSB students will be required to take a 2 semester sequence of calculus and MA217-Accelerated Statistics.
