Annual Dolan School of Business Sophomore Symposium


Image: AAACSBThe Dolan School of Business Sophomore Symposium, offered during the fall and spring semesters, provides students with the necessary resources to successfully navigate their college career. The Sophomore Symposium I (offered during the fall semester) provides business students with an overview of academic programs and co-curricular learning opportunities. The Sophomore Symposium II (offered during the spring semester) provides an overview of professional skills development and career preparation.

The Symposiums are designed to assist students in navigating their next 3 years at Fairfield University and to provide a forum to discuss learning opportunities with faculty, administrators, Dolan School of Business Advisory Council Members, and fellow business students and alumni.



Sophomore Symposium II:

  • Career Preparation Panel featuring DSB Advisory Council Members and DSB Alumni
  • Panelists will share their professional journeys and offer recommendations and guidance
  • Topics of discussion will include:
    • Professional Skill Development
    • Image: Sophomore SymposiumResume/Cover Letters
    • Networking
    • Interview Skills
