It is designed to present the participant with essential knowledge for entry into exempt positions in the human resource development/personnel function. The program offers the opportunity to strengthen skills, boost confidence, and advance career opportunities. The one-semester format will familiarize participants with the field in general and the specific functions in the profession.

  • Evaluate the impact of legislation (federal, state and local) on the organization's goals.
  • Identify HR metrics and their applicability to strategy.
  • Understand the role of Social Media in the HR management & planning process
