The accounting program in the Charles F. Dolan School of Business offers you an innovative program that provides:

The four-year accounting program prepares you with a solid professional foundation for careers in accounting. Qualifying students may elect to pursue the MBA with a concentration in accounting or taxation or the M.S. in accounting. These programs provide you with an excellent foundation for a career in public accounting and will qualify you to take the certified public accountant examination in Connecticut and many other states.

As an accounting major, you will be introduced to members of the business community through participation in the Accounting Club activities and through Beta Alpha Psi, the honor society for accounting majors and minors. Fairfield is favorably located in an area where many Fortune 500 companies have their headquarters and is just 50 miles from the world financial centers in New York City. Internships with international accounting firms, corporations, or not-for-profit organizations in the area add a valuable real-world dimension to our innovative curriculum.
