Production-uplink truck slated to be delivered early spring semester

A new remote fully-loaded production and uplink truck is currently being built for the Media Center. A 1.8 meter uplink dish will be mounted on top of the vehicle. This 22-foot long truck will take us to a level of production capability rarely seen on college campuses. Funds recently gifted to the University has made the purchase of the truck possible. Delivery is expected early next semester.

At the same time, the Media Center’s Studios A and B are being upgraded with new audio and video equipment for use by students, staff and faculty.  This includes the creation of a new audio post production room in the place of the old control room for studio B.
