Remote video production truck part of exciting upgrades

Plans are underway for the purchase of a remote production truck. This will take the Media Center to a level of production capability rarely seen on college campuses. The new, fully loaded truck is made possible through funds recently gifted to the University. At the same time, the Media Center's Studios A and B are being upgraded with new audio and video equipment for use by students, staff and faculty. This includes the creation of a new audio post production room in the place of the old control room for studio B.

Another milestone for the Media Center and for the University is the installation of a fully-automatic "Head End" unit that receives and redistributes television from our service provider, Cablevision. This upgrade will enable automatic, programmable play and record of all programming on our private television channels.
