News from Academic Media Equipment Services (AMES)

We are renovating the AV facilities in Grad Ed's counseling center, repairing cable connections in newly emptied dorm rooms and consulting on cable connections within the townhouses which are slated for renovation this summer.

Other summer projects include:

• working on new sound system for the Ignatian College Commons,
• revising the classroom equipment in the Ignatian College classroom,
• monitoring and advising HB Communications on new technology classroom installations,
• acquiring a new portable web broadcasting device for distance teaching and conferencing and
• installation of a new system of bar coding on all our equipment and on all classrooms and presentation facilities.
