A message from the Vice President
For most students and faculty, the summer season is a time away from campus with opportunities to focus on vacation, travel, and research. However, for most staff, the summer is the busiest time of the year as we complete tasks that can only be accomplished while some offices, classrooms, and even buildings are vacated. For the staff in the Information Services Division, this summer is as busy as any during the past 6 years. I invite you to read about the enhancements that are underway and which will bear fruit by the fall semester. Rest assured that we continually review the quality of programs and services with an eye to enhance them wherever possible. In the meantime, if you have any questions or if would like more information, please do not hesitate to contact us.
Sincerely,
James Estrada
Vice President for Information Services &
University Librarian
