Something new with Morningstar, ARTstor & other databases

Morningstar database is our new Internet-based stock and mutual fund research resource. Use it to locate stocks or mutual funds based on certain criteria. Read in-depth, independent stock and fund analyst reports. Test how two or more stocks and/or mutual funds work together as a portfolio.

WorldCat is a worldwide union catalog created and maintained collectively by more than 9,000 member institutions. WorldCat's tens of millions of records represent library-owned resources - both physical and digital - that cross all manner of subjects, languages, cultures and uniqueness. This links to our online catalog and Journal Locator to quickly locate items at Fairfield University. Formerly available on a per search basis, this is now an unlimited user site license.

ARTstor now includes about 25,000 images formerly in the AMICO digital collection bringing the collection to 300,000 images. The Offline Image Viewer was upgraded this summer to provide increased functionality to allow users to combine images and text to create different types of presentation "slides".

History Resource Center-US now has an unlimited site license courtesy of the Connecticut Digital Library (http://iConn.org). In addition, the History Resource Center-World database is also available courtesy of the Connecticut Digital Library.

These databases are available both from on campus and remotely at http://library2.fairfield.edu/dblist.php.
