How to Install Anti-Virus Software (Mac OS X)

Download the Norton AntiVirus program and double-click the .zip file that appears on your desktop. The file will unzip itself and you'll see a Norton AntiVirus icon on your desktop. To download the software, click here.

Double-click on the OS X version, and then double-click the Norton AntiVirus Installer icon that appears.

You'll be prompted with a series of screens that precede the actual installation. In each case, click Continue; when you reach the final screen, click Install.

Finally, in the middle of installation, you'll be asked if you want to update the AntiVirus software. Click Yes, and your wait for the process to complete. You'll be prompted to restart your computer, and once you do, your AntiVirus installation will be complete.
