Campus Ministry Retreats

There are a number of different student retreats available including Freshman Retreat, Kairos, and Senior Day Away. In addition, student ministries will provide retreat experiences for their own members. Fr. James Bowler, S.J., Director of Mission and Identity offers the "Retreat in Daily Life" to faculty and staff members.

Kairos Retreat

Contact: Crissy Bowen, ext. 2953; cbowen@mail.fairfield.edu

There are two Greek words for time: Chronos and Kairos. Chronos emphasizes chronological time. Kairos is God's time, judged not by duration but by value, the experience of God's presence in the midst of the Christian community. This retreat experience is a chance for students to get to know themselves, their fellow students, and their God on a deeper level. The KAIROS experience is a unique and life changing opportunity.

Kairos Retreats Fall 2006:

Kairos Retreats Spring 2007:
March 23-25

4th Day Gatherings

These are monthly meetings of alumni of the Kairos Retreats (students who have made Kairos either in high school or here at Fairfield University) who gather to further reflect on the themes of the retreat.
