Office of Campus Ministry

Located on the first floor of the University Chapel, Campus Ministry strives to be a home for students of all faith traditions who are interested in exploring and enriching their spiritual lives.
Rooted in the Catholic faith and steeped in the Jesuit tradition, Campus Ministry is committed to the development of the whole person. We believe that a healthy spiritual life is a key element of the Fairfield University experience. As we acknowledge that not everyone is at the same point in their spiritual journey, we offer many different opportunities to explore what it means to be a person of faith in today's world and to live a "faith that does justice."
Campus Ministry offers retreat programs, liturgical ministries, social justice programs, and domestic and international volunteer programs. All students are invited to participate in these programs and many have opportunities for student leadership. The staff of Campus Ministry also offers individual pastoral care and counseling, and opportunities for spiritual direction.
We invite you to come learn, grow, laugh, and pray as you explore your relationship with yourself, your community, and God. Together, it is our hope that we will learn to ignite our own hearts with a love of God and a love of neighbor, for we believe that it is through this embodiment of the Gospel call that we will, truly, be able to set the world aflame.
We look forward to meeting you!
