Choice/Connections: Post-Graduate Service

Choice/Connections is a program that provides activities and advisement to help students consider decisions about career direction and/or commitment to one to two years of service work after graduation. In past years, Fairfield graduates have participated in post graduate service with the Jesuit Volunteer Corps, Peace Corps, Franciscan Volunteer Corps, Mercy Corps, Teach America, and Americorps, just to name a few.

Throughout the year, Campus Ministry will host speakers from various agencies, including those listed above. In addition, each semester there will be several speakers, mainly Fairfield Alumni who have participated in post graduate service. They will share stories from their experience, offer helpful information about searching for the right placement and completing applications, and will be available to answer many of your questions.
