United Nations Trip

Want to experience a day at the United Nations? Receive detailed briefings on humanitarian issues? Tour the amazing U.N. complex? Join us for our annual United Nations Global Citizenship Seminar!

Fairfield University's Annual United Nations Academic Trip, "Global Citizenship Seminar" is offered through the Center for Faith and Public Life (CFPL) in collaboration with students, faculty, administrators, and staff. In addition to touring the United Nations Building itself, students receive detailed briefings focusing on humanitarian issues, refugees, human trafficking, trade and global debt and other forces behind Global Migration. Last year's presentations were scheduled with senior level administrators, representatives from the UN and other international NGO's, and the World Youth Alliance. This year's speakers will most likely be from UNICEF, UN Women, and ECPA USA.

The United Nations trip was on Thursday, October 27, 2011
