Please join us for a workshop with lunch provided by the CAE. Articulate what you believe to be the aims of education, and how you teach to accomplish those, in a statement of your teaching philosophy. Such a teaching philosophy typically describes things like: • your definition of teaching & learning • goals & expectations of the student-teacher relationship • teaching methods • how you can tell students are learning Join us for a hands-on session where you’ll have time to begin writing (or revisiting) your own philosophy. Co-facilitated by Stephanie Storms, Educational Studies & Teacher Preparation (GSEAP), and Roben Torosyan, Center for Academic Excellence.
