It is not too late to think through the design or redesign of your courses! This session will have you thinking about the context of your classroom, the formulation of learning goals, the design of feedback and assessment procedures, the selection of teaching/learning activities, and how to integrate all of these components. Presented by the CAE, this session will guide participants through Backward Course Design (Understanding by Design, Wiggins and McTighe, 1999) and L. Dee Fink’s Creating Significant Learning Experiences. Facilitated by Larry Miners and Suzanna Klaf, CAE.
