Global Citizenship through Leadership Faculty Workshop
Monday, October 25, 2010
3:30 PM - 4:30 PM
Library 107C
During this faculty workshop and conversation, campus guest Chris Lowney will offer insights on ways to challenge our assumptions about leadership responsibility and opportunity. Come join the conversation regarding Chris’ concept of heroic leadership from an Ignatian tradition, and how this approach might help our students better engage as global citizens. Formerly a Jesuit seminarian, Lowney later served as a Managing Director of JP Morgan & Co on three continents before leaving the firm in 2001 to write the bestselling Heroic Leadership: Best Practices from a 450-Year-Old Company that Changed the World. All faculty invited to attend. Co-sponsored by the Leadership in the Ignatian Tradition Residential College and the Center for Academic Excellence.
