Using Quantitative Reasoning to Achieve Integrative Learning

This afternoon workshop, leading into the annual CAE summer conference, will be led by Prof. Nathan Grawe, Director of the QuIRK (Quantitative Inquiry, Reasoning, & Knowledge) Initiative at Carleton College. Participants will explore ways of enhancing our students’ quantitative communication skills across a variety of disciplines by reviewing student papers and developing classroom assessments that help to build these skills. The workshop will run 12:00 – 4:30 and be followed by drinks and dinner that kick off the summer conference.
