Lunch provided. A follow-up to our workshop last year, we’ll examine ways to discuss diversity issues in the classroom while managing the emotions and divergent opinions of students. A case video will be examined followed by a discussion of teaching strategies on how to turn difficult dialogues into teachable moments. Co-facilitated by Roben Torosyan (CAE, and Curriculum & Instruction) and Ginny Kelly (Counselor Education).
