Fairfield University has helped interested faculty incorporate audio and video programming into their curricula in a manner that makes their content available to students in a digital format, accessible from anywhere, and no longer dependent on a network connection. The Computing & Network Services department has teamed up with Apple to integrate iTunes University into the classroom environment as a means of simplifying this process for IT staff as well as for faculty. Professor Richard Regan from the English department will demonstrate how he has used iTunes University in his curriculum. C&NS will demonstrate how easy it is to record the audio of lectures so students can review material afterwards on their computers or iPods. C&NS will also demonstrate how the public side of this learning environment will service the University community.
