RecPlex Training Rooms and Fitness Classes
In addition to a variety of fitness classes, the RecPlex also offers many types of equipment such as treadmills, rowing machines, and ellipticals, as well as weight and Nautilus training rooms so you can get a total body workout!
The RecPlex contains two open areas that include:
- Exercise bikes
- Stair climbing
- Cross training machines
Despite their heavy usage, there is generally little or no wait time to use the equipment.
Recreational Weight Room
Located on the ground floor of Alumni Hall, immediately adjacent to the RecPlex, the recreational weight room includes over 8,000 pounds of free weights including benches, machines, racks, and dumb bells.
Nautilus/Cybex Strength Training Room
This room contains over 15 pieces of the latest equipment to aid in strength training. While open to all members, this room was created in response to survey data provided by female members of the RecPlex.
Appropriate workout clothing and footwear should be worn at all times while utilizing the RecPlex.
